Spring Break

After our road trip was delayed three days due to our second stomach virus, we finally made it to beautiful Virginia!  Girls did awesome on the road trip.

Next stop on the trip... Granville, OH to visit the Ortens!

 Yes, our two combined families have SEVEN girls!  We never would have guessed this back in our Princeton days.

 Egg hunt with the Ortens!

 Sweet memory for me.... Claire cleaned house and filled her basket. The older girls were in a separate hunt down the field for their age group and barely got any eggs.  All of the older girls appeared quite disappointed, and Elise was on the verge of tears.  Then our compassionate Claire promptly (but without any prompting) started sharing her eggs with all the big girls.  It was so sweet to see her happily filling their basket with the eggs she just worked so hard to collect.  Sweet girl.

 Elise is an awesome traveler.  Way to go, babe.

 Sylvie is all smiles here and overall did a great job.  Unfortunately, now two weeks later, she still gets upset when I put her in her car seat, even for our typical 5-minute rides to the grocery store.
