We hope everyone had a great Easter. Ours was really nice. It started with a gorgeous mini-snowstorm that covered all of Marquette with a fresh white blanket of beauty. We gave Elise her Easter basket filled with bubbles, a book, markers, Elmo underwear (we're hoping the little red guy might motivate her), and candy, of course. Papa played Easter bunny and hid a few eggs for Elise - real dyed ones (most of which were cracked - coloring eggs with a toddler isn't easy!) and the plastic variety in which Elise discovered either a jelly bean or an M&M. She was thrilled with finding just one small treat inside. Then it was on to church. It was a great service and I was especially excited because Elise went to the nursery and played without any tears! After church we hosted an Easter lunch with friends from church and my mom and dad.
Here are a couple of photos...

This is what Elise looked like this afternoon after 10 whole minutes of eating the ears off of her chocolate bunny. :)
