our first house

It's almost official. On May 28th we will close on our first house, and few days later we will move in! We're really excited about our new home, and we hope we have a lot of visitors. :)

a day at the beach

Yup, we're pretty much Yoopers. It was 46 degrees and sunny this morning. Perfect beach weather in my opinion. :) But really, how could we resist the beach? It's right across the street and the sky was a perfect blue and the sun was shining and seagulls were singing. It was great... even with the remaining snow piles to climb. I've decided that with less than two months to go in Marquette, we better take advantage of our beautiful beach as much as possible. By the way... does anyone know the closest beach to Grand Junction???
